UHNW: Claude skills backed by calculation code
Concentrated-stock collar construction with constructive-sale review, and private equity multiple tracking (TVPI, DPI, RVPI), plus guidance for trust, philanthropic and exchange-fund planning that the engines do not model.
What wealth-uhnw calculates
3 commands, each available in the CLI, as an MCP tool and as a JavaScript import. Every result carries the method it used, the questions it still needs answered and the next steps worth taking.
| Command | What it returns | What it needs |
|---|---|---|
uhnw collar | Collar strikes on a concentrated position, with constructive-sale review. | symbol, basis |
uhnw pe-metrics | Private equity multiples: TVPI/MOIC, DPI, RVPI and unfunded commitment. | commitment |
portfolio irr | Money-weighted return (XIRR) from dated contributions, distributions and ending value. | cashFlows |
When to use it
Requests this pack answers:
- “hedge this concentrated stock”
- “build a collar”
- “how is this fund performing”
- “what is the TVPI”
- “what is the IRR on this fund”
- “money-weighted return”
What it does not do
Named here because leaving it out is how an agent ends up asserting something the code never computed.
Guidance only, no engine behind it
- Covered-call overlays and exchange funds (§721 partnerships)
- J-curve capital-call and distribution forecasting
- Generation-skipping transfer planning with GRATs, IDGTs and CRTs
- Donor-advised funds and private foundations
Limits to state with every result
- The engine does not price options. Whether a collar is zero-cost is unknown (
null) until you supply live put and call premiums. - Every collar needs tax counsel review for constructive-sale treatment under IRC §1259. No rule defines a safe band; spreads under roughly 15–20% of the share price are a common practitioner warning sign and are flagged as
narrowBand.
Run it
node bin/wealth-skills.js uhnw collar --symbol AAPL --shares 100000 --price 215 --basis 25
node bin/wealth-skills.js uhnw collar --symbol AAPL --shares 100000 --price 215 --basis 25 --put-premium 4.10 --call-premium 4.05
node bin/wealth-skills.js uhnw pe-metrics --commitment 5000000 --called 3000000 --distributions 1200000 --nav 3200000
The same commands are exposed as MCP tools, so Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and any other MCP client can call them directly. See the integration guide and the pack itself, skills/wealth-uhnw/SKILL.md.

Questions it answers
Hedge this concentrated stock?
Collar strikes on a concentrated position, with constructive-sale review. Run uhnw collar in the CLI, or call the same tool over MCP. It needs symbol and basis. Strikes are a percentage of the share price. The result carries the method it used, the data it used, anything still missing and the next steps worth taking, for a licensed professional to review.
How is this fund performing?
Private equity multiples: TVPI/MOIC, DPI, RVPI and unfunded commitment. Run uhnw pe-metrics in the CLI, or call the same tool over MCP. It needs commitment. Each multiple is a ratio of these. The result carries the method it used, the data it used, anything still missing and the next steps worth taking, for a licensed professional to review.
What is the IRR on this fund?
Money-weighted return (XIRR) from dated contributions, distributions and ending value. Run portfolio irr in the CLI, or call the same tool over MCP. It needs cashFlows. The rate is solved from the timing and size of each flow. The result carries the method it used, the data it used, anything still missing and the next steps worth taking, for a licensed professional to review.
